What fees apply to your payout?

eStaffing Hire charges one fee, and only one: a 10% platform fee on the placement fee. Everything else you might see on a payout is tax, which is your own money handled by the rules of your country — not a charge from us.

The one fee we charge

When an employer hires your candidate, they pay the placement fee the role advertised — for a permanent role, that is the agreed annual salary multiplied by the fee percentage on the job. Out of that placement fee, eStaffing Hire keeps a 10% platform fee. That is the complete list of what we take. There is no separate processing fee, no matchmaking fee, and no card-collection fee added on top.

For a contract or contract-to-hire role, the same 10% applies to whatever fee model the role uses. See contract and temp hires for how those are priced.

Tax on your fee

Beyond our platform fee, the only other things that move your number are taxes. These are not eStaffing charges — they are your own tax obligations, and how they appear depends on where you are.

Withholding (tax deducted at source)

Some payers deduct tax before they pay you and remit it to the government in your name. In India this is TDS; in the US it can be backup withholding if we do not hold a valid tax form from you. Withholding is not money lost — it is your own tax paid early, and you claim credit for it when you file. It is calculated on your fee, never on GST.

GST (India)

If you are a GST-registered recruiter in India, you add 18% GST to your invoice. You collect it and pay it to the government, so it raises the invoice total but is never your income.

Of that ₹2,91,600, the ₹48,600 GST is owed onward to the government, so ₹2,43,000 is genuinely yours. The ₹27,000 TDS is your own tax, paid early — you reclaim it when you file, so it is not lost either.

What we never charge

To be completely clear, none of these come out of your payout: no monthly subscription, no per-submission fee, and no “matchmaking” or introduction fee.

Credit-card processing charges

These are never taken from a recruiter’s or agency’s payout. Paying an invoice by bank transfer or ACH is free. If an employer chooses to pay by card, the card processing charge is added to their own invoice — the party who picks the costlier method is the one who covers it. It does not change what reaches you.

See your exact number before you start

You never have to work a role to find out what it pays. Every job shows its estimated earnings up front, and our calculator lets you model any salary, currency, fee and tax situation — the arithmetic there is the same code that runs the ledger, so the two can never disagree.
